It has been three years since the new rules for the privatization of public property took effect in 2018. The key aspect of the novelties introduced into the privatization framework was providing a different regulation for the sale of small- and large-scale assets. The upgraded legal framework was aimed at speeding up the overall process of selling public property, and it certainly reached that goal to the extent that it related to the sale of small privatization assets.
In the next 12 minutes, Serhiy Piontkovsky, Kyiv Managing partner, will look into the general rules for privatization in Ukraine and will speak about key aspects of large and small-scale privatization in the country.
